This was our second visit to Hafod Cae Maen after 'discovering' it last year and we had a perfect weekend. We returned this year with friends - this is truly a house to be shared!! As ever the welcome was warm - this place has to be our perfect retreat!! We will definitely return here - hopefully on our honeymoon!! ....x

I have had the most wonderful surprise weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday courtesy of my children. I cannot imagine anywhere more perfect. The house is fantastic and so well equipped - full of comfortable details. It splits so well between the "hub" i.e. the kitchen, dining area, library where the seniors could go and browse and the sitting room where the "kiddies" could go and play. You have thought of everything - and I haven't even got round to mentioning the beautiful gardens, views, surroundings etc. I will never forget it here - and hope to be back.

What a wonderful adventure we have had here - long walks, sunny days on the beach, castles and railways. Perfect escape for the whole family.
